Grandmas's Portraits - 2022
(ENG) A Avó Veio Trabalhar (Grandma Came To Work) is an intergenerational creative hub, where social bonds are knitted in the local community and the elders can be themselves. Age is perceived as a power that must be potentiated. Each older person has an individual talent, aspirations and passions that are believed in and cultivated.
These series of colorful portraits were created at the same pace as I got introduced to the grandmas' environment and their own specific routines, picking up traits of their personalities, the various ways they express and present themselves to the world around them, illustrating, that way, the small attributes that make them unique.
